Meet Antonette Vasseur

Hello! My name is Antonette and I am the designer and owner of Rooted + Wild Garden Design. I help gardeners who are trapped in the bodies of busy people by designing beautiful regenerative gardens that fit their lives and their style. I believe in a holistic design approach that combines ecology with aesthetic to create beautiful biodiverse gardens.

Permaculture is a science that allows us
to mimic natures patterns but it is also an art and form of storytelling.
— Antonette

I consulted with Antonette to design a bed in our yard to grow fruit trees, berries, and some native pollinators. I had some ideas of what I wanted, but not a clear path forward. She came up with a comprehensive design that incorporated the trees and berries that would do well in our site, while adding new varieties she thought would be useful for us. She also gave us a thorough list of plants to add around the trees to help amend soil and attract pollinators. Antonette’s design harmoniously blends beauty with the permaculture aspect we wanted for our yard. I would recommend anyone looking to invest in their yard to do a consultation with Antonette!
